Get a wrtten agreement with costs. My car went from the verbally discussed $30K to $60K. Mechanical abilities are incompitant, even dangerous. Steering linkage fasteners on my car were loose. Steering gear locked up when turning. Engine pan was sitting on the crossmember. Rear brakes did not work. Paint bubbled in one place and cracked in two others. There are many more incompitant examples.

The team at Cliff Avenue Upholstery & Restorations did a fantastic job on my ‘79 IH Scout restomod project. They are experts in auto restoration and have one standard- perfection. My project used a powertrain and chassis from Velocity Restorations in Florida. Unfortunately, the suspension was off by over 8” due to a mistake by Velocity. Ennis and Aaron were able to rework the shocks, coils, and linkages to lower the body to correct height. The team at Cliff Avenue has a strong faith so you know they are doing honest work at a fair price. I would recommend Cliff Avenue Upholstery & Restorations for all your automotive projects.

I have been using cliff Ave for years but never again, dropped off my engine cover for my boat to get reupholstered and never heard back from them, after numerous calls and messages, the customer service has dropped to nonexistent. I didn’t want to go to small claims to get my cover back but I guess that is my only option. Save yourself the trouble and take your projects elsewhere but here, I would question the quality of repairs if they can’t even pickup a phone.

We just picked up our 1930 Ford Model A Tudor that was brought to have the vinyl roof repaired. Firstly, we were surprised by how quickly they got it done. Andrew was upfront in saying that he would repair it, if possible, or put on a new top. But, he repaired it, and it looks GREAT! He is so honest and does fantastic work. He said it will need a new top in the future. We will definitely bring it back here. (The front desk lady was friendly and helpful! 😇)

I had taken my 1975 Cadillac convertible to Cliff Avenue Upholstery in Tea to put on a new top on it, and it was a disaster! When I got the car back, it had top frame issues it never had when I took it in.(Things didn't align when you put the top up) I took it back and they charged me another 1187.00 but nothing changed, same issues! I then called Darren at Sioux Falls Auto Trim and asked him if he could take a look at it and he told me to bring it over, two days later he called me to come pick up my car it was fixed!! The kicker, the bill was only 360.00!!! These guys also put a new top on my 1969 Camaro and are nothing but FIRST CLASS! Thanks again Darren:-)
