Mr. Tienken evaluated my home for installation of air conditioning. He was extremely courteous, professional, and made a recommendation and proposal which I accepted. The work crew that came to do the installation were also extremely courteous and professional. They were punctual--arrived at 8:30 a.m. and by 4:30 p.m. everything was installed and ready for use. I also commend the guys for being so neat--cleaning up every speck of sheet rock dust that was a result of their work. Now that the hot weather is upon us, I also am thrilled with the effectiveness of the AC units that were recommended and installed.

I had several plumbing issues that needed addressing, so I called Cliff Tienken Plumbing. I've hired him before. I've tried overlooking it in the past, but let's face it: Cliff Tienken is a bit of an impersonal douche. Very flat personality. He always sounds angry or annoyed when dealing with customers. He has absolutely no liking for his job, and acts like he's doing you a favor. He seems to get enjoyment in leaving you hanging in an emergency. What'll generally happen when you call is you'll talk to him and he (begrudgingly) agrees to come out (doesn't give pricing if you ask for it), then changes his mind a minute later and has his assistant call you back to cancel.
