I shopped around for a custom product at the best price and Closets by Design was able to reduce prices to get down to my budget and to beat out a competitor’s offer. I was SO glad they were able to do so because working with the designer (Robin) was such a great experience, I was hoping to be able to move forward with this company. Their competitor tried to sway me away from Closets by Design by saying they had terrible customer service and wouldn’t be able to hit my budget, but Closets by Design didn’t bother putting down the other company; they just delivered what I needed at a better price AND with a better experience. Closets by design designed and installed cabinets in my laundry room and office. Overall, I had a good experience with Robin the designer. My biggest complaint was that a few things got overlooked and now I'm either going to have to pay extra for them or just live with it as is. For example, we had a tall broom cabinet installed in the laundry room, but no shelf was incorporated into the design so the top 1/3 of the cabinet is just wasted space. Also, we'd planned a drawer in the office that was extra wide to accommodate two filing cabinets. When the installers arrived, they only had materials for one. They said the drawer wasn't wide enough for two. Annoying because I know that was the reason I chose the extra large drawer for that space. Installers were courteous and on time, but they le

Closets By Design did an exceptional job on 3 of my home closets. I wasn’t doing a huge job. Just moved into our new home. 2 closets were small and needed a system to double its capacity. 1 closet was just a walk in space under the stairs with nothing there. They created hanging storage and shelves in the space to fit my needs. I chose the basic set with no backing as I could do touch up paint myself to make the torn out closet material to match. From the very beginning, I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and knowledge displayed by the team. Robin, in particular, was an absolute gem in planning the layout of my pantry. She not only took into account my specific needs but also provided some fantastic ideas to maximize the space. The follow-up and instructions on preparing for installation were incredibly helpful. The installers arrived promptly, were highly professional, and maintained an exceptionally clean work environment. Overall, it was an exceptional experience and the finished product is exactly what I wanted.

All online negotiations were quick and productive. The designer - Shawn, super nice- came as planned, draw the closet at the first visit while still at my house. Price was negotiated, design adjusted. Plan for installation was done- that part took longer than I expected but the one guy- Ben, super nice also- came as scheduled, installed the closet, and did a great job. Overall very pleased with the work of Closets by design!
