My friend has been a loyal Coan Oil customer for many years, always trusting them to take care of her heating system. Unfortunately, that trust has turned into a nightmare. No one from Coan Oil ever informed her about a heating oil leak that, according to professionals, has clearly been happening for a long time. The leak went unnoticed until the smell became unbearable and the damage was already severe. Now she is facing a major oil spill, contamination inside her home, removal of floors and walls, possible damage under the concrete, and extremely expensive environmental cleanup. Had entire new heating system and oil tank installed in November. Excellent professional installation and excellent equipment. Coan Oil is the best for oil heat

Terrible service. Overpriced oil. They make you pay for service and still not repair problems if you have to buy oil from someone else in an emergency situation. My oil whistle was replaced by then less than a year ago. Now there is a problem again. They will not repair it or even check it under warranty. I needed oil urgently and they didn't have time so I had to order it from someone else.( BTW they were $1/gallon overpriced that this other company so about $275 extra pwer fill). That company driver said the whistle is faulty so I called to ask them to check and fix it under warranty. But the service manager said " You didn't buy oil from us so until you buy oil from us we won't repait or even check it" and he hung up on me!!!

We have been a customer for many years. They are always there when you need after hours service. Recently we had our oil tank replaced. They were reasonably priced and did a great job taking away the old tank and leaving the area perfectly clean. We also had a problem with our AC unit during the hot summer days. They were able to fit us in and took care of the problem quickly. I can't say enough about the service technicians that come out to the house. They are friendly and professional and know what needs to be done to fix the problem on the first visit. I highly recommend Coan!
