Colmenares Lath & Plaster did the stucco work on my home in 2016. A few years later, problems began appearing — and now, nearly 8 years in, I’m dealing with over 100 visible nail pops at exterior corners and severe cracking in multiple areas of the house. When I contacted the company, they attributed the damage to "settling." During CSLB mediation, they offered to patch the issues for $7,500, but didn’t address the root cause. Based on my research and consultation with professionals, it appears the original installation didn’t follow proper standards for corner bead fastener spacing (per ASTM C1063), which likely led to this widespread failure. They did an excellent job on our stucco...and they even came back redid a part we were concerned about. They were on time always and a reasonable price
