It's taken me 1 year since my exterior remodeling to write this review. I had the my old, yellow, drab siding stripped off, along with the stained brown roof, and replace by Colony Constrution and Colony Roofing. In additon, I had the entire house wrapped in low-E insulation, had all the trimmed wrapped in metal, new french doors on two sides of the house, and got new porch rails. I had a new back deck built, and a stamped concrete patio. In the year it's taken me to write this review, I have not had a single call-back. Nothing has needed to be fixed. Herb's crew did an amazing job. The roof was done a day ahead of schedule. The crews usually showed up early. Had roof put on in 2011. Paid for all the extra bells and whistles in order to qualify for the “50” year roof warranty . Have had a minimum of six different leaks since the roof was Installed. Leaked in both bathrooms, our garage in 3 different areas and now it’s leaking in our living room. Our newest leak started about a week or so ago. Had another roofing company come out which inspected our roof and found that our shingles, were improperly nailed by the installers that Colony sent out. He checked over the whole roof and found this improper nailing pattern in more than 15 areas that he checked. The nails are on the edge of keyway joints. We also have exposed nailheads in other areas.We are now stuck with a less than 15 year-old roof having to be replaced. This is after spending over

We were looking at having a patio roof installed and looked at various companies and options/styles. We decided on the Renaissance Patio manufactured product for its quality and price over other standard style patio roofs. We have been extremely pleased with the quality, look, and how it has transformed our backyard living space. Several of our neighbors and friends comment on how beautiful it is and how it has extended our living area. Despite disruptions in the supply chain because of Covid-19, Colony Construction management kept us informed of the status of the project. The installation crew were professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them if you are looking into getting a patio roof.

Great job installing the roof on our new shop. The rains came almost as though it was a scheduled test and all was perfect. Colony's team selected a the perfect color to match our existing roof. Great to know exactly where to call for any future roofing needs. Highly recommend!!!!

This review is long overdue. I contact multi contractors about building a garage. Herb was great with helping me figure out what would work best for my property and getting the garage approved thru the city of hampton. I had a few changes that were made before and during the build process. Herb and his crew were great at accommodating all these changes. I not always the easiest person to deal with because I can be picky about things The new garage more than meet my expectations. Colony is by far the best contractor I dealt with and would use them in the future. Recommend them to anyone looking to have a structure built.
