We had such a great experience with Nick and his crew from Columbus Floor Refinishing! They were fast, efficient, and offered very competitive pricing. We originally planned to have LVP installed through America’s Floor Source, but after purchasing the product we were told our floors had too many issues and would require $5k in prep work. Thankfully, Nick’s team swooped in and got the job done without all of the unnecessary extra costs. They worked cleanly, were very mindful throughout the entire process, and even installed new baseboards - which completely elevated the overall look of our space. BEFORE ➡️ AFTER 😍 Nick & Gary did a phenomenal job restoring 3 bedroom floors for us. And, at a very reasonable price (considering some outrageous quotes we got at other businesses for a small project). The turnaround was so fast but, VERY detail-oriented. And, the project was done within one week. Nick was very knowledgeable about floor stains and because we wanted something low VOC, we went with water-based and we are so impressed with how it turned out. The transition between the old oil-based oak wood in the house/hallway and our bedrooms that are now refinished with water-based was INCREDIBLE. You can’t even tell a difference. I contacted several h/w refinishing companies about refinishing my "80's" floor with a large (noticeable) bevel. Nick was extremely knowledgeable and spent a lot of time detailing his company's process and he gave excellent advice on refinishing my floor to update the "80's" look. A competitor said "natural" (no stain) was "in", but I rejected this suggestion because of the dark, wide bevels I wanted to minimize. Our house was built in 1949 and it was past time for the original hardwood floors to be completely refinished. After getting quotes from several different companies we decided to go with Columbus floor refinishing because we were really impressed with the professionalism and knowledge we observed during the initial walkthrough, which I'm glad to say, continued throughout the process. Everything happened as scheduled, there were no delays or extra hidden costs, and the work was done in a timely and efficient manner. We really couldn't have asked for more.
