Comal County Animal Control

Had a bit of a concerning situation with a questionable daytime raccoon, I called and spoke with someone over the phone. They were super friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Super happy this service exists.

Absolutely disgusting! I had 2 kittens show up in my backyard and I called them to help out. I had to buy a live trap to put them in so i could 'transfer' them to their cage... couldn't just hand over 2 sweet kittens to them, and within 5 days! 5 days, these kittens showed back up in my backyard!!! It is freezing outside and these 2 kittens were tossed back outside by animal control. So what... they drove to the end of my street and let them out?! Disgusting. What good do they do if they are just redumping these animals back outside?

Called over 10 times, all on different days and times. They have never been working “that day.” Seriously, what is the point when they aren’t at work?

We had a stray show up at our house last night and would not leave. We had family come into town the same night and would not be able to enjoy outside because this dog would not leave you alone! Also, we couldn't let our dogs out because he harassed them and barked aggressively at my lab. We gave it until the morning to see if he would leave and when he didn't called animal control. They showed up in less than an hour and removed the dog. Great work and service Comal County Animal Control!

Animal Control Officer Heimann #936 was so helpful today after our small dog was attacked by our neighbors German Shepherd. She was sympathetic, informative and well spoken. We certainly appreciate her professionalism and will follow all her suggestions. She's an asset to Animal Control. We appreciate her service. Thank you.
