Comfort Appliance Repair

Second time we have had Comfort Appliance do work for us. First time was so good that we didn't consider anyone else this time. They are on time. Communicate exceptionally well. And most of all, they properly diagnose and fix issues without trying to take advantage of you. Our tech, Miguel, is excellent. We had him the first time and requested him for this last appointment. Thx Miguel, for doing such a great job for us. Highly recommend this company and Miguel.

Same day service and a very friendly, clean, and knowledgeable technician arrived who clearly knew what he was doing. Replaced a faulty wire for me which was covered by the diagnostic fee. However, I need a new control board which was quoted as $300 plus $180 for install. I understand the cost of the part but $180 to install something I watched a four minute YouTube video on is a bit extreme. Will complete the repair myself.

Customer service was good for scheduling and from the technician's side too he was punctual and friendly. Only thing is he was just wrong in his diagnosis of the issue and seemed somewhat lazy about trying to diagnose it. My washer was running fine and then one day it filled up and just wouldn't run after that. Technician looked at it, stuck his hand under the body and got a bit of oil on his fingers from that, looked at the agitator for about 10 seconds and then concluded it was "100% a bad transmission, probably not worth fixing because they get so rusted on". Didn't turn the machine on or anything, that's all he did. I had Comfort Appliance Repair come out to look at my dryer, which is nearly 50 years old. While it turned out to be too old to repair, the technician who came was incredibly friendly, professional, and courteous throughout the whole visit. He explained everything clearly and didn’t try to upsell or push anything unnecessary. Even though they couldn’t fix my ancient dryer, the service was excellent, and I would recommend Comfort Appliance Repair in a second to all my friends.
