From the first time I reached out for help with mom, I knew we had made the right choice! Paula was so informative and helpful during the intake and we adore mom’s caregiver. I had contacted an agency in the town in which my mom lives and they had very poor communication, didn’t follow up, it was frustrating but Comfort Keepers came to the rescue. We thought mom might not want anyone else in the house that wasn’t family but she enjoys Andrea’s company so much! Comfort Keepers is a great company with great people.

Comfort Keepers has a wonderful staff of folks from management to caregivers. The team works very diligently to bring good people into the homes of those needing that extra help when caring for family with all manner of physical illness. I could not have survived caring for my husband with Alzheimer’s without the in-home support services.

My father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s about 4 years before he died at 90. Comfort Keepers made it possible for him and my mother to remain in their home and live in an orderly, comfortable way until their deaths. The staff was marvelous: thoughtful, cheerful, professional and sensitive to both their needs and the needs of the rest of the family. They were a win for us!

We contracted with Damariscotta Comfort Keepers for several years of services. Their CNA staff was excellent. They matched us with one perfect person who was not only exceptional at her craft, as a caregiver, but had the right personality traits as well. We provided a car for transportation and my wife, and the caregiver had the absolute perfect relationship. Our caregiver, attended to all of Pat's medical, bathing exercise, shopping, arts and crafts, dressing, meals, etc. In addition to the CNA workers, we also had an excellent relationship with the administrator and the staff. An excellent team to work with that you could depend on.

We are so grateful for the care Comfort Keepers has provided for my aunt. We wouldn't be able to do it without them. They have been instrumental in looking after her and allowing her to stay in her home and not end up in a memory care facility. Thank you Comfort Keepers!
