Commonwealth Restorations renovated our entire first floor, with the kitchen as the centerpiece of the project. They replaced all the cabinets and flooring, removed walls, and completely opened up the layout. The transformation was remarkable — we went from a closed-off floor plan to a beautiful, modern living space. This is a premium outfit, and their pricing reflects that. If you're looking for the lowest bid, look elsewhere. But if you want top-tier craftsmanship and high-end materials, Commonwealth delivers. Every detail of the finished product shows the level of care and quality they put into their work. It's now been a year and a half since our kitchen renovation, and we're already planning to go back to them for a bathroom project. That should say a lot about our experience.

I hired Commonwealth Restorations to replace a master bathroom shower and upgrade lighting in several rooms in our home in Arlington, VA. The quality of the work was excellent and was completed on time and on budget. We were impressed with the professionalism of the entire CR team and the care that everyone took to ensure that there was minimal dust or disruption to our home. The designer on the team provided excellent suggestions for the upgrades which would not have occurred to us. And our project manager was friendly and highly responsive throughout the project. These folks have had their sign and trash bin out in front of our neighbor’s house for what seems several months. The projects: a porch replacement. Typically, a four or five day project. In nearly five weeks they have managed to frame the porch, nothing more. Weeks pass during which nobody shows up to the job site. We are planning to build a new deck in our back yard. We would never consider such an unprofessional outfit to work on our house. It seems they put more effort into planting their sign on the yard than anything else.

Overpromised and under-delivered. Blew out my budget and my time frame in the most unprofessional and brazen manner. Needless to say, I would not do business with them again, and I recommend that you do not either.
