My heater was blowing out black smoke and shutting off, and had to restart. Competitive Heating technician came out, and access the problem. Fixed the problem by all the steps to restarting it. My boiler runs like champ and no black smoke coming out my stacks. Great job

I hired Competitive Heating and Cooling for a heat inspection, and the tech rushed through, spent only minutes on site, and immediately condemned the furnace, claiming it was cracked and leaking carbon monoxide. When I asked for proof, he said there were no photos and refused to share the video, saying his boss had to approve it. I paid another company and got second and third opinions from PSEG — all confirmed the furnace was perfectly safe. Careless, misleading, and could’ve cost me thousands. Avoid this company.

The gentleman that installed my tankless hot water heater were on time, neat, and quick. They were very professional. We always use competitive because they care about their customers and try every hard to accommodate them. I’ve never had any problems with Competitive Heating and Air Conditioning!!!!

Devin and Dylan installed our new heating and air units and did a great job. They showed up early, finished quickly and made sure everything was perfect before they left. They cleaned up after and I am very happy with my new units. Thanks so much guys!
