Concept 1 Custom Cabinetry

We unfortunately had a terrible experience having custom built ins done by Tom. His professionalism was poor from the beginning, and got worse once he was doing the install. There was no care taken to protect our furniture or hardwood floors from damage or dust, even after we complained on the first day he failed to cover anything and continued sanding and cutting and making dust. The entire house was covered in dust and there were large scratches and dents to the brand new hardwood floors, despite warning him to be careful many times. Including such carelessness as leaving nails sticking face down out of trim laying on the floor. Tom built a beautiful bar and a custom island for our kitchen. His work is quality. He is easy to work with and really listens to what you want in your piece. Highly recommend him to anyone.

Tom was great to work with! He made us two custom pantries, an island and desk drawers that matched our existing cabinets. Once everything was painted, they matched seamlessly. Oh, the pieces are SOLID. Nothing flimsy about his work and zero short cuts taken. Waaay better quality than you get with pre-fab big box junk. Highly recommend!

Tom did a great job from concept to completion. We had a buffet cabinet made and it came out exactly as we asked for. Went from a rough drawing to a great completed cabinet in 2 weeks. Did a great job on the paint job. Very happily with the results
