Connaught

This nice coop has a wonderful garden with lots of places to sit and relax on a hot day. At the entrance off 54h, there is a large sculpture by Alexander Liberman titled ACCORD. Installed in 1979. Brightly colored and hard to miss. The garden is usually pretty busy and there is a secret exit in the back which exits to 55th.

I've been going to doctor's appointments in the area and visited a number of parking garages. This one by far is the friendliest and has competitive pricing. Andres was a great parking attendant who made the experience such a positive one (which is rare in the area!).

I lived in connaught towers when they first opened 1977 ish. The rent was $800 a month. It was a great building. Phothghers would take pictures of beautiful models in front of the building. A great experience at 25 years old. I am very grateful I was able to experience this.

PARKERS BEWARE!!! There are scam artists running this place. Parked 1.5 hours and charged $60. Max should have been $45...Just giving you a heads-up if you plan on parking here.
