Connolly's Do it Best Hardware & Rental

I have shopping at Connolly’s at Southgate for thirty seven years. It’s a great place to shop. The folks are always helpful. I love hardware stores. Where else can you solve life’s problems for a few bucks?

I needed a car key made. James was extremely helpful and patient. He made one and even drew blood to do so! I tried it and it didn't open my car door. So without seeming at all perturbed he made another one, which also didn't work. We gave up but I found out there's a shop on Illinois Road called The Keyless Shop which will probably be able to make one. He also helped new cashier Kendra process a refund. She and he were really pleasant to do business with.

Went to do it best today they close at 6pm but they closed early at 5pm i just wanted salt will never be back the hours have got changed for thief’s not for shopping customers we can’t help if you don’t have security your prices are already too high i will take my business elsewhere like Menards and Walmart where the prices are much cheaper

The employees here are very helpful. One took his time to listen to my need and guide me to the best product at a reasonable price for my need. Highly recommend.

The staff are friendly and eager to help. They are helpful and will even walk me to the area to get what I want. And returns are easy, they don’t argue with you or treat you as if you’re someone trying to rip them off
