Crooked Oak Studio

I had never painted with oils before, and this was such a fun way to get started. Our evening began with a delicious, healthy, French-inspired home-cooked meal, intended to be on-theme with the Monet painting we replicated for practice. Christy supplied everything — we just showed up! Beautiful studio and property. Christy curated a fantastic playlist that matched the theme and helped us focus, and she provided feedback and tips for those interested. Recommend as a fun outing for a variety of levels!

Christy is a wonderful host!! Her paint nights are such a treat! She’s very attentive to her guests and makes the whole night a lovely experience from the food to the music to the gentle painting advice. Highly recommend!
