Cruz Landscaping and Tree Service

I have used Cruz Landscaping and Tree service twice in the past 6 years to take down some enormous dinosaur trees in the backyard. There are some access issues limiting what equipment can be used. Each member of the team is professional. Best price, quick turn around. Would hire again.

Probably the worse tree service I have ever seen. They had to come to our house three times to do the job correctly. One of the reasons was none of them speak English. The other reason was they don’t have the right equipment for the job. Also they do not have safety equipment either. That’s a big problem for homeowners insurance. Better look into that. On top of it all they don’t clean up well. This was part of a package deal for solar panels. Sun purity is the company they partnered with. I don’t recommend using them either. Terrible customer service.

I did not use their service but my neighbor did. I watched them drop full trees instead of using a 'climber' to take them down in sections. This caused many to land in my yard. They never asked if this was ok with me. Their cutting techniques seemed unprofessional, felling trees onto other trees instead of removing the obstacles first. Just because you have a chain saw doesn't make you a professional. EDIT #1 (2 hrs later) - the 'climber' finally showed up to cut the larger trees, again dropping them into my yard without even talking to me. They have now created divots in my yard and broke one of my trees. We had a neighbor offer to have two trees cut down own our property line with a different tree service. The craters left behind were terrible. When we were ready to cut down two ginormous dying trees in our front lawn, we did our research and hired Cruz. Their prices were the best 1st of all. The professionalism was invigorating. They cleaned our property up so nicely. They even cut the trees into manageable pieces free of charge for a neighbor who was in desperate need of fire wood for his home. Their stump work was impeccable!!! We were able to successfully grow grass over the empty spots with ease and crater free. Mayolo Cruz, the owner did an exceptional job. He responded to our call and not even 24 hours later had his crew out to my home to remove 6 trees that were each at least 60 feet tall. Everyone one if his employees are extremely respectful, very cautious with our property and extremely professional. I will never call anyone again for any landscaping and tree removal quotes. By far best service and best prices around.
