Curt's Dependable Heating & Air - Braselton

I virtually never leave a negative review. But I have to speak up here. He charged us $300 for labor and had us replace a part for about $200 that wasn't what we needed. He told us he'd call around to find out what we needed, but never got back to us and did not return multiple phone calls. Took our money and ghosted us while we were left with broken AC in July.

After returning from vacation, we soon discovered that our home was not blowing cool air or cooling itself as it should. I had heard of Curt’s company on a Christian radio station and had read some positive reviews, and after receiving his services, I’m happy to offer my own high recommendation of Curt’s Dependable Heating & Air. Curt came on the same day I spoke with him even though it would be a Friday evening, and he was able to quickly find and inform us of what he thought was the problem. He did his work in less than an hour, offered us advice and information about our system and how things worked, and was very honest and transparent in his pricing including not seeking to charge us for things that we may not need. We are glad to have found an HVAC contractor that we can be happy

He installed a new system April 2019. It started blowing warm air on June 4, 2020 and the good news is he came on Sunday June 7, 2020 and diagnosed it as a broken coil which is covered under warranty. I called on June 16 to get an update and was told someone would call me back. After 2 days there was no return call and since then Curt has ghosted me and refused to take my calls and refused to make the repair. He would not return my calls, texts or email. By June 22, 2020 I expected Curt to have the part and repair the AC especially since it is June and hot here in the state of Georgia. I finally called another dealer and they repaired it within 2 days. Curt owes me $800 for the labor cost of the other company that completed the repair. Curt was very helpful and professional. I called him late in the evening on a Saturday to come and take a look at our AC unit, and he was more than willing to help us out right then..rather than to have me and my family suffer through the night (our thermostat read 90 degrees for three hours prior to Curt’s arrival). He performed a handful of test, determined the root cause of failure within 30 minutes, and had the air flowing within an hour. Great guy, great service. I would recommend to anyone.

We had a new unit put in by Curt’s dependable heating and air in June of 2020. 10 months after the unit was installed our AC was blowing out heat made a call to Curt and he sent Cameron out to fix it and was told he needed to order us a coil that would take 2 weeks to get the part, I called Cameron a month later and was told he was still waiting on the part. After several calls 4 months later (September 2021)we finally got the part put in. April 2022 our AC was not cooling again ( new unit) we call Curt again (Still under warranty) only to find out he had passed away and Cameron was now in charge of the business.
