Happier than a hamster with fresh bedding! As others have stated the quality of the lumber here is just the best. Great selection and just beautiful wood in all grades. Super helpful too. If you need cedar don’t bother with anywhere else. And buy enough that they pull the horn, I want to go back just for the horn!

This is definitely the place for fence pickets. I purchased QTY: 200 of their 8' length, middle-grade option (pictured). - Staff was friendly: Sylvester answered all of my questions, showed me around, explained my different options, delivered the wood, and even helped me unload it. - They sell a variety of grades and lengths: 6', 8', and even 7' lengths (as #1), which is the legal height-limit for Portland if you are building a non-permitted fence. - The pickets are 3/4" thick (actual 0.7" - 0.75" wet), which is nicer than the 5/8 or even 9/16 that I've seen elsewhere. - The prices were fair: Same as the other yards, but the quality of the stock was better. - You are not allowed to pick through the pickets. Beautiful cedar, knowledgeable employees. Sylvester was so helpful each time we came to get wood for our deck. He went above and beyond to help us get the best deal for what we needed, I would recommend this place for their customer service alone!
