Cutting Edge Kitchens of Idaho

Ben (owner of Cutting Edge) is great! Staff is helpful and prices are good. I’ve had them install new granite countertops in my kitchen and bathroom- and most recently had the granite on a too-narrow countertop section replaced to create an eating bar. Installers were prompt, polite and did an excellent job! I highly recommend this company!

The physical installation quality from Cutting Edge Kitchens is fine, and parts of our kitchen look great, but I would never do business with them again. This company was immensely frustrating to work with when their final product did not match the designs we were given up front. When I told the owner it wasn't what we agreed upon and needed to be fixed, he shockingly told me it would require a 'change order' to make it right. After weeks of back and forth, they ultimately agreed to a discount as compensation to just live with their mistakes. Getting them to take accountability and do the right thing required too much effort for me to ever do business with them again.

The consummate professionals! From the showroom lady who explained the materials and helped me pick out the quartz, to Leanna, SALES, who worked with me on the cost, etc. They were both helpful and friendly. Leanna answered mail immediately, keeping me informed and answering my many questions. The demo dudes (Dantae and Dan--I think?) were fast, efficient and clean! Ben, (Owner), did the quartz templating and explained things. He was so kind and helpful with this dilemma: The old counter stepped up a few inches just behind the faucet, (see picture). It was difficult to clean behind the faucet, and was wasted space because I am too short to reach all the way across the counter top to that higher shelf part. When I asked if he thought there was some functional reason for it, he simply said

I found Cutting Edge Kitchens by referral and their website. Our project was smaller than most..after moving in during Covid we decided it was time to completely redo our fireplace surround and mantle. We also wanted to add a stone hearth. As we proceeded through the process, we went to the Cutting Edge shop and met with the Natalie who were so helpful and her follow-up with questions great. They helped us find a beautiful remnant slab that had the perfect mix of colors. Ben came to our home to inspect the install area and yesterday all the work was completed with the laying of the stone hearth and it is the crown of the project. We have ordered three separate granite countertops for our bathrooms. The process was seamless and pretty quick from choosing our stone to installation. Leannacwas gratvto work with and Dante and Dan were quick and efficient on installing two bathroom counters and backsplashes. We definitely recommend them. True professionals.
