D & J Appliance Repair

I'm happy with the ice maker repair that technician Dave from D&J Appliance Repair did for me. Dave was at my home within a few hours of calling the company by phone. Dave was knowledgeable and efficient in making the repair. I needed a new motherboard for the side by side refrigerator that held the ice maker. Dave had to take a trip to the warehouse to get the motherboard once he determined that was the problem. When he returned, it was a simple replacement and we had ice again!

They arrived on time, inspected and told me the damage was too intense to repair. Could not have been more kind or thorough.

The service person was pleasant, however, I was advised that the part needed for my repair was no longer available for my washing machine. The only part he could find was $450. Of we both agreed that I could purchase another machine for that price. I paid the service fee, but did some research myself. I called LG and they suggested I try searching online for the part and was able to find several other small companies that actually had my part. I ordered the part and had it installed and my washing machine is working. Don't waste your time with this company. I wish I would have never contacted them.

The technician impressed me with his trustworthy demeanor and appeared to have decades of experience, ensuring that I felt confident in the guidance provided.

Feb 2024 Update. These guys are incredible!! I have. used them several times since last review. Recently, washing machine was acting up. Dave came out to fix. He diagnosed problem, found another issue and repaired that as well. OUTSTANDING job. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Trust worthy, professional. These guys are fantastic. Great communication. On time. Professional, fairly priced, no surprises. Just used them for second time, great job. Dave is great to work with.
