We had a long-standing problem with the plumbing under the sink in the powder room. Instead of consulting a professional (like Don!) the problem was covered up with various tape and spray fixes. Needless to say, the problem just got worse. Finally it escalated to the point that the pipes were no longer connected to the plumbing at the wall.
