I hired Denys to run new ducts to two rooms on the second floor (the previous owners bizarrely removed them) and install AC in our existing heat-only central air system. He sealed and insulated around the existing duct work first to prepare for the new AC. Running new ducts was tricky but he and his crew did a fantastic job with them. They carefully sized the new ducts and used rigid ducts all the way, no flex ducts, and installed custom boxes at the registers because the registers were older and probably installed with the original central air system a long time ago. They had to cut through drywall and plaster in a few places to run the new ducts but his crew protected everything with plastic sheets and used a vacuum as they went to minimize the amount of dust. The first time, I thought one of my AC units wasn’t cooling properly and suspected low refrigerant pressure. Denys arrived exactly as agreed, checked both units thoroughly, and confirmed everything was in perfect condition.
