I recently visited the Dallas Habitat for Humanity ReStores and had a generally positive experience. The store is located in a convenient area and is quite well-organized, making it easy to browse through the items. They offer a wide range of both new and used items, which is great if you're looking for different options. If you’re considering donating here — don’t. Save yourself the frustration and the insult. The ReStore on Walnut Hill has some of the most ungrateful, dismissive staff I’ve ever dealt with. They act as though taking a donation is a burden rather than a benefit. It’s baffling — this is supposed to be an organization built on generosity and community impact, yet the people running this location behave like they’re being inconvenienced by the very items that keep their doors open. Instead of appreciation, expect eye rolls, rude comments, and an overall attitude that screams you should have just thrown this away. And honestly? That’s the advice I’ll pass on. Don’t waste your time, your gas, or your goodwill on this location. Avoid at all costs and toss your items instead — at least the trash

The employees are wonderfully helpful, the prices are fantastic. I’ve done practically my entire house with furniture, tile, flooring, lighting, and probably everything else.

Customer service here is a wild card. Employees are more emotional than a hormonal teenager. I hope the old management ways will be a thing of the past under Tim's supervision. Only time will tell. I will update this review lord willing.

I've been able to find some great deals here including appliances and other household items. Many items are packaged and brand new.
