The sales representative, Summer is what makes this a great place. Summer is very knowledgeable, super helpful and accommodating. She works up estimates and counts for all sorts of possibilities and she suggests some great ideas. I have purchased composite decking and cedar lumber there and have been satisfied. Lumber prices are a little higher than others but I am a believer in quality products and great customer service. For that reason I will continue to do business at Dallas Cedar and will refer others as well.

Just ask for Summer, tell her what you’re building and she’ll get you all set up. I bought all the materials I needed to build a new cedar board-on-board fence and Summer really helped out. I strongly recommend this company. Mostly because of their service.

Summer, customer service rep was great. Great wood buy make sure to double check some were split but they fixed order quickly. Two projects completed, great product, dreaming up a new project soon.

I ordered over $3,000 of cedar before Christmas. The fee for delivery was much higher-$250 than the other cedar place but the price for the cedar was better. The delivery guy called me and I left my school to quickly meet him and show him where to put the wood. I got there and showed him and he said “he can only delivers the wood not offloads it”. I scrambled to get my neighbor to help offload. I came back after work and looked at the delivery realizing that it wasn’t right. I call Blanca who assured me it was but if they had missed something, I could get it somewhere else and they would reimburse. The store was closing in 15 minutes and not open on the weekend. I looked again and finally called the delivery guy and he said he delivered the wrong order to me. He came back and I had to help

Very unorganized and unprofessional staff from Blanca at the front desk to Enrique the guy who loads the material. I placed my order a day in advance and when I got there to pick it up they didn't have anything ready Also I was the first one there and was the last one loaded. Clearly they have there favorite customers. I paid cash for my products and was told that cash the lady who accepts cash wasn't there so I had to wait but never stated if I paid credit it would be faster. I've never heard of such a thing. Here's the topper they didn't have everything I needed I had to go look for it at Home Depot. 🙄Overall experience I'm not a satisfied customer and will not return.
