Daltile Stone & Slab Center

Wish I’d read the reviews first. I was sold tile with a manufacturing defect (each tile has a single beveled edge—see photo) and then told I’d have to pay a 25% restocking fee to return it. Outrageous. Staff couldn’t agree on what a rectified edge is, and the sales associate dismissed the issue and suggested a test grout. I also paid full price for 7 boxes, even though one box was completely broken when I picked it up. Poor product and even worse customer service. Won’t be back.

I visited the Plymouth Daltile center for the first time on September 26th and unfortunately did not feel very welcomed, as the front desk staff barely acknowledged me. She did try to assist, but it seemed she may have been occupied with other tasks. However, when I returned the next day with my partner, we had an entirely different experience with Michelle. She was outstanding — taking her time to gather samples, walk us through options, and explain the differences between materials. She even graciously placed a sample order for a tile that wasn’t available, which I greatly appreciated. Being in the industry myself, I place a high value on customer service, and Michelle truly exceeded expectations.

Been here several times, have NEVER had a good experience with any employees in person or on the phone. They have a lot of tile and have been around for quite a while, so I always seem to give them a chance, but no more. There’s so extremely unhelpful and arrogant. Every time they always act like I’m such a burden on them. Most the time they always just referred me to the website. If you just push me to the website, why do you even have employees in the show room? If you don’t have a multi million dollar house on the lake, they don’t want to work with you. Use Floor and Decor, AVOID Daltile.

Connie was very helpful,she explained the showroom setup and checked in to answer questions. Set us up with samples to take home.

I wish we had read the Google reviews before we came in. We had exactly the same experience as several of the other one star reviews: Extremely unfriendly staff, with an absolute attitude of arrogance, looking down their nose at us. We were also looking for direction (as one of the other reviewers) and she immediately asked what our budget was. I said, well, we’d like to see what you have to offer and her response was, “You’re in a show room. You’re looking at it.” Utter indifference to us as the customer. She walked away, and we immediately walked out of the showroom, drove five minutes away to one of the competitors and had the exact opposite experience , a WONDERFUL customer experience and made a significant purchase on the spot. We will recommend the competitor to all of our friends
