Dan Tapani Excavating

We converted from a (70-year-old) septic system to the city sewer, and I had met with about a half dozen contractors to excavate and run the line from our home to the line 11 feet under the road. I was very impressed with both of the owners, Michael and Andy. They were very knowledgeable and ethical people; their dad (Dan) taught them well in every aspect of the business. Their bid was slightly higher than some competitors, but I had a good feeling about their company, and they did not disappoint. Communications were excellent from the initial bid to the final day of the project. Ninety percent of the work was done on the first day! This outfit is awesome. They finished an excavation project for me today. I am adding a two story extension on to my home where the foundation will sit a little below the existing structure. The work was done quickly and efficiently. All tolled they pulled out three trucks worth of material. The team accounted for drainage and even helped me fix drainage issue with existing building. When they left my property was cleaner than when they started. It was a pleasure to work with these guys.

DTE replaced a culvert at my home. They did an excellant job for a fair price, were quick to respond to phone calls and questions and came back right away for some follow up work.

These guys are the best! They did our rock wall in the backyard, and it looks amazing. They are perfectionists, using that huge machine to place boulders in exact spots. Michael worked with us to help design the rock wall and brought up engineering considerations that we hadn’t thought of. They are professional, quick, and always on time. I’d work with Dan Tapani Excavating again in a minute.

These guys are an absolute pleasure to work with. They have been delivering load after load of dirt to our home we're building in Ridgefield and Andy has been just amazing and Dale was great as well. Being a business owner I'm always noticing quality folks, and have to say these guys are awesome.
