Dan's Locksmith 24/7

I called my home insurance and they sent Dan. He came and once he left my locks did not work as they did before he worked on them. I called my home warranty and Dan came back to my property upset and bothered . He was rude and refused to acknowledge that there was something wrong with what he did. He didn’t fix the issue rather he notified my insurance that the issue was not a releo but something else and I got charged an additional $90 for his service call. So I paid $180 for someone to break my locks and be disrespectful to me. Do not use this guy even if he is through insurance. He is rude and careless and should have know how to do a rekey without messing up my locks. I have expensive doors and now need to pay a few hundred out of pocket to get this fixed in addition to what I paid Fid

Was told by First American Home Owners insurance that this is the company they use. We called for service on our locks (brand new home) and the tech Jason said he rekeyed them, and then left. We were left with broken door locks. The key just spun around in the key holder never catching to unlock the doors. He broke both locks. If your warranty company tells you to use them, don't. You'll be left with a home that you cannot lock. Further calls and text messages, the operator said, "it's probably your fault, you broke a key off in the door." We obviously did not and zero calls have been made to fix the problem.

Payment is collected upfront and after that I was given a 4 hour arrival window for a new house which doesn't have furniture. I asked through their confirmation text messages if they can give me a shorter window at least in the morning the day of the appointment and no response was given for that question. So unprofessional. Over the phone, I was confirmed that I would receive for 4 keys for each lock but upon arrival they told me it was 2 only. If I knew my experience would be like this, I wouldn't do this through you guys. At least communicate with your customers when a question is asked. I understand you might need arrival windows but confirm in the morning so you don't ruin the full day for a 15 minute job.

Edit: dans prolock is a nationally contracted provider of independent contractors (lock smiths) for American first home warranty. Alberto A. was quick and responsive. He did good work.

They charged me $245 for a simple unlock, it took less then 10 minutes and used only two tools. I called later to ask how much It would cost and they said $30 plus the technicians fee. Pretty messed up and he didnt tell me the price until he already started working
