Darwin’s quality of work and the sincerity with which he does it is fantastic. Darwin has done numerous jobs over the years. Most recently he installed a very heavy chandelier in the foyer. He took incredible care to ensure it was safely installed, taking precautions beyond what was advised by the manufacturer. I trust Darwin to do a great job while being cost conscious.

Just moved to Mahopac and contacted Darwin Electric. He was very professional; courteous and work was perfect. A true perfectionist with knowledge and expertise. Not easy to find when your moving to a new area. Highly recommend.

Darwin came recommended by a family member. He installed new recessed outdoor lighting on my front porch and added an exterior receptacle. He was responsive, punctual, and professional throughout. The work looks excellent, and he managed to do it without leaving a mark on any existing walls or ceilings. He even cleaned up some questionable wiring left behind by a previous owner for free, leaving things safer than before. I’ll definitely be calling Darwin for future projects and will be recommending him to friends and family.

Darwin moved some recessed lights in our kitchen and installed 3 chandeliers all in just a few hours. His work is excellent, he and his team are respectful and friendly (our dogs loved them!), he’s easy to get in touch with, and he even continued to answer some of our electrical questions after he’d finished the job. I can’t recommend Darwin enough. We will be using Darwin Electric for every project!!!

Highly recommend!! Darwin and his assistant Luis were respectful, responsible, responsive, and thorough. They are the Nordstrom’s of electricians — high quality work that you can trust. Details: I moved into a house from the 60s and hired Darwin for 3 specific projects — add new wiring boxes in the ceiling, switch outlets from 2 prong to 3 prong, swap out light fixtures. However when he started getting into the house and wiring, he noticed several things that were outdated and made recommendations for both safety and aesthetics (grounding outlets and light switches, changing switches from rockers to gliders, moving around the order of switches on a switch plate to make it more intuitive). I am very pleased with how everything turned out and highly recommend Darwin.
