Dave's Appliance Repair And Parts

The follow-up from Dave's Appliance has been awful. They were originally out to evaluate my washer machine 12/22, they found what they thought was the problem (the actuator) and ordered the part. Knowing it was around Christmas and New Year's I was not expecting a quick turnaround, but was told the part would be in the week of 12/29. I never heard from them and had to call them on 1/2 to determine the status of the order. They were able to install the part on 1/5, I ran a load of laundry after the tech left and had the same problem that I initially called them about. They sent out a tech the following day (1/6) and I was told it was the motherboard that had to be replaced. I asked if the initial replacement of the actuator was still necessary and he told me the actuator acts like a clutch

I had an extremely good experience with Dave’s appliance. Yes, like all residential services, communication is not the greatest, but that is no way a dealbreaker. Extremely professional, and they really go overboard to do a good job when they are in your house. As a matter of fact, when they were done fixing my microwave, the Jen cleaned it and scrubbed some exterior parts, he didn’t need to do that. I highly recommend them. Yes cost is market value, and market value is expensive. It ain’t 1990, lol.

Overpriced. My Samsung washer machine was constantly unbalanced. Just needed new suspension rods. They charge over $300 for labor for less than an hour of work. The parts directly from Samsung were inflated too. When I tried to cancel instead of repairing, they gave me a very hard time and pushed me into fixing it. Overall cost to repair the washer was $600. Insane. Might as well get a new washer. Not worth it

I'd give this company 0 stars if I could. Biggest scam out there DO NOT USE. I paid them to come out for service, they took one look, said my washer was fixed and left. When we tried to use it that night, it still wasn't working. I've left several messages to try to get someone to come back out, and just this morning, some lunatic answered the phone and started criticizing me, the customer, for calling back and wanting someone to come work on our washer. He then hung up on me and blocked my call back. With this type of horrible customer service and repair service, I am shocked they are still in business. Trust me, find someone else!

I would give this company a 5 star rating. They where courteous when booking the Appointment. Explained there billing rates thoroughly and arrived at the scheduled time with a half hour arrival notice by phone. The technicians where competent and resolved the problem very professionally.
