DON’T CALL THIS GUY!!! Get ten different opinions before you even call him and then delete his number anyway! Called around yesterday to shop around for a squeaky dryer, decided to give Dave a try and told him I wouldn’t be home until after 3. He said no problem and to call him after three and he would come if he was available, great! So what does he do? Shows up well before 3pm (2:20 ish pm) while I’m not even home with no call or notice to me. Tells my boyfriend who was home at the time that he is early (he’s lucky anybody was even home because otherwise he would’ve NEVER gotten a dime out of me). So now you’re early without notice or asking, you’re there even though I never once called to confirm you to come out or a specific time and now I owe you $90 just for driving here? Already

Because I like to support local businesses I did a search and found Dave's Appliance Repair located just a couple miles from me. I called their number, in a panic, because my house had just sold and the buyer's inspector was coming in two days. Of, course, that is when my oven decided to stop working after using the Self Clean function. I left a voice message and in just a few minutes owner Dave called me back. Over the next several minutes Dave calmly talked me through different strategies to "unlock" the stuck function so the oven would work again. I called Dave due to fridge malfunctioning. Dave came the following day and gave me a quote. It required a new part. He came and installed it the next day. The fridge is now functioning properly. Dave has many years of experience which makes him knowledgeable with appliances. He truly is an expert and I will definitely call him with any appliance issues.

Dave came out and diagnosed I needed a direct drive motor. It's a part that needed to be ordered. He was back within 3 days and replaced. He noticed my agitator wasn't working and replaced that as well. I feel he was fair in prices for parts and labor. My machine is ancient and they don't make them like mine . I gave 4 stars for now and will update to 5 if my part lasts.

Dave was extremely thoughtful in keeping us informed about his time of arrival, as it was going to be a bit later than had promised. He responded immedautely when I called about a repair for the dryer. Came the next day, and because he took the information about Model#, when he arrived, he had the part needed on his truck. Upon arrival the repair was completed in 45 minutes. Very competent, very fair, and would call the next time I was in need of any appliance repair.
