Day and Nite Heating Oil, Inc.

Beware! I ordered with the company on 1/13/25. I was sent a confirmation email with expected date of delivery 1/16, but the delivery never came and I still have not heard back from the company as of 1/21. I was not able to reach anyone from the company even after several emails and many phone call attempts. I had to order oil from another company and made a dispute to my credit card.

I purchased oil from Day and Nite Heating Oil after my full-service company last year cancelled my service contract on the boiler for "not buying enough oil" from them, this coming after I had done business with them for almost 20 years. I saw that one of my trusted friends had bought oil from Day and Nite and I shot her a private message. With her blessing, I decided to give it a go. First of all, I liked that their website was completely up to date and easy to use. I got a price quote with no gimmicks and without putting a bunch of personal information in first. I decided to go for it. I placed my order on a Sunday evening and was promised 200 gallons by Thursday, pre-paying with my credit card. On Monday, I received a confirmation email stating delivery would happen on Tuesday a

Very upsetting and frustrated !! I have ordered from this company in the past and I have never received a notice stating they do not deliver in my area no longer. I ordered my specific amount of oil, paid in full and assumed delivery was for 10/4/22. Meanwhile I am undergoing surgery, an email comes in at almost 7pm on 10/4 stating they are not sure how my order slipped through the cracks and that they no longer serve my area and i will be refunded. Oil prices jumped almost .90 cents a gallon and I was not able to purchase oil in time so now my bill is even higher thanks to Day and Nite.i wasn't refunded until 10/7. I don't recommend them at all!

I was very disappointed as I have been using Day and Night for a number of years and they were always OK for delivery at a reasonable price. I ordered a tank fill online at a rate of $1.74 per gallon and my card was billed $478.23 as I have a 275 gallon tank. The company never showed up to deliver until about a week and 1/2 later and then only filled my tank 1/2 way and charged me 20 cents more per gallon. Now, if I would like to fill the rest of the tank, the rate it $2.77 per gallon? After 5 emails and various phone calls with no one answering at the business office, this company is obviously having some problems based upon recent reviews. Do not trust them. They also do not disclose an administrative fee of $11.99 that they charge with each delivery regardless of volume. Update-

I have used many heating oil suppliers during the 36 years I have lived here in Easton. I am happy to report that I have been completely satisfied with the service I have received from Day and Night for a few years now. Deliveries are always prompt and often a day earlier than promised. Friendly folks when on the phone with them and the online ordering is very easy. These folks got it right.
