Hired to put a new cap on my chimney. Came with the wrong cap and put that on the wrong vent. He did not have the correct replacement vent so he put the old one back on which I have posted pictures here of. Came with the wrong type of ladder to do the job could not reach or see the top of my chimney to do a quality job so he laid his ladder down on the top of my roof vent and proceeded to smash my event down as you can see from the pictures. Quality job I think not pictures speak for themselves

This is a bit of an odd review as it starts with my mistake: I emailed DC Chimney Services on the assumption that they were in Washington D.C. Rather than make fun of me (which would have been totally within his rights), Craig called me, clarified that DC was a little out of his range, and then extremely kindly offered to take a look at our inspection report and give his view on what we needed. He then followed up twice as I shared the inspection report and two estimates from companies that do work in DC. This level of professional advice from someone I called by mistake, freely and enthusiastically given, is truly incredible. If Craig goes out of his way to help strangers like, I can only imagine how seriously he takes work for paying customers. Highly recommended, makes me wish I lived

I was in need of having an unused chimney stabilized, and searched my local area with no results. After consulting with a local wood and pellet stove supplier, they offered a few suggestions. After making an appointment, I met Brian initially who evaluated the work that may be needed. He provided an estimate, and I elected to proceed. Upon the start date I met Craig, he fully explained in detail the work they would be doing to stabilize my chimney. He and Brian did a great job, they cleaned up everything, and also coated the chimney with a protective coating that should last for years. Great Job! My chimney has been stabilized,and secured. One more thing, it is great to support a military veteran owned business.

I called DC Chimney the owner Craig was a pleasure to talk to he was so informative and helpful. He had his crew out to me the next day, they found out the problem after a good clean my chimney is working great again. I would recommend everyone to use DC Chimney services.

These guys did a fantastic job !! They were fast and did a a great job they explained everything and had a great price. What was quoted was the exact price. I would have them back in a heartbeat.
