When we first called DC Heating, the HVAC system was not cooling enough; unable to counter July hot temperature. Daniel came and checked all pressure and temperatures. He quickly identified a major flaw in our HVAC system that existed for years and was contributing to poor system performance: The Air Handler was missing a vital part called “Thermal Expansion Valve or TXV” that should have been part of the manufacturer release. Surprisingly, our system was running without Thermal Expansion Valve since first installation 4-5 years ago which explains why our thermostat was never able to sat
