I called on a weekend, they sent someone that day. His name is Max, he was VERY knowledgeable, explained everything and showed me the issues, gave me a price and fixed the problem.outstanding service .He was quick and friendly. Be careful! They took advantage of my 85 year old father. All oil companies in the New London area are roughly between $3.50-$4.00 per gallon as of 02/05/2026. We have automatic deliveries set up as a lot of people do to fill the heating oil tank for market price per gallon, and leave the bill. DDLC decided to charge $6.00 ($5.999) per gallon without prior warning, about 50% higher than all of the other companies that deliver heating oil, and left the $1200+ bill that should've been roughly $700-800. They then refused to acknowledge the reason for the price hike nor work with us even a little. They offered $25. They said we weren't on any plan, and plans would've lowered it down to $3.89 a gallon. Is automatic delivery for market price not a plan? This is all news to me. Why is their d

I had a very pleasant experience on the phone today with Barbara at DDLC when I callled with a problem with changing my credit card information. She not only (very patiently) walked me through the process of doing that on line, she then went on to discuss other aspects of my account. When all was said and done, she spent a considerable amount of time with me making sure that I understood every detail of our discussion. Barbara was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful, and I, for one, appreciate that level of customer service excellence.
