De Hooghe & Viau Plumbing Heating

We’ve been using De Hooghe & Viau for almost six years since moving to Gladstone, and they’ve always done reliable work for us. This most recent situation was just tough because our boiler/heat pump issue left more than half our home without heat. We were originally told it would be 3–4 weeks before someone could come out, but it stretched into nearly two months. With winter temps dropping and both of us working from home, the delay was rather stressful and that’s the only reason this isn’t a 5-star review. Once Rob arrived, though, everything changed for the better. He diagnosed the problem immediately, got the system running properly again, and took the time to walk us through what happened. My wife woke up to no water pressure, she called and there was a technician out to our house that morning, diagnosed the problem, a bad well pump, they got it replaced and we had running water very quickly, shout out to Tom, and his assistant for outstanding work, top notch service for sure They definitely earned my highest recommendation, Gene and Wanda DeBassige

I personally won't use "Gladstone Plumbing and Heating" in the future. After months of trying to get someone out here to give us an estimate on a new water heater. "They switched to the new people during this" we got a call back and still no one came out. Our water heater finally took a crap we got ahold of them got someone to come out. Some young guy that didn't do anything but tell me I needed a new one then proceed to turn the water heater back on and flooded my basement. Then still no estimate till after we got a bill in the mail a week later, not for the estimate but for him coming to our home for about 10 minutes but we have to pay $75 for a half our of nothing. Went to their place of work to figure out what's going on and got an estimate not even a full half hour later. Professional

I have been going Here ever since I moved to Escanaba 15 years ago, and They have been wonderful . I just called them and I kept getting another plumbing and heating company. I am going to really miss them. I guess they closed down. They have always been there for me when I needed them.

I've dealt with Sandy a few times and was very pleased with her handshake approach to handling the office process...scheduling, billing Had a couple emergencies when I purchased a home in need of alot of TLC. She was great at getting someone here very promptly to address my concerns. I've never had the same level of personal expert experience with any other plumbing company and fair pricing. Will definitely be my goto for all my plumbing needs.
