I had an antique child's rocking chair refinished and Geoff did a superb job!! The price was reasonable, it took less time than I anticipated, and the attention to details were phenomenal. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Geoff, he is certainly kind and especially knowledgeable and a master of his craft.

Geoff is a true craftsman who does great work! He exhibits attention to detail. I've used him to refinish and repair furniture pieces, including many antiques, for over 20 years and have been satisfied.

This guy took a long long time to complete our project. Communication with him was poor - sometimes non responsive. When completaeed, the table extension mechanism virtually fell apart. if you decide to take a chance with him here’s some valuable advise: get a quote get a deadline I don’t pay until he get the work completed. I was very, very disappointed with the service I received at Deckard's Woodcrafters. I dropped off a very special family antique tea sofa in early Fall of 2018. I told the work was "almost done" and could I pay him for his work in January 2019. I paid $1,000 in full in early January 2019, trusting him that the work would be done within a few days after I paid him in full. (He had come referred to me by Klumpe Upholstery so I thought I was in good hands.) Month after month of checking in, I was continually assured the work was "almost done" and he would deliver the piece to Klumpe Upholstery to do their part. I was even patient and understanding, recognizing personal issues. This lasted from February 2019 until October 2019, when I was again promised it would be done in November 2019.

Took a family heirloom here and Geoff did a great job. It took some time but great craftsmanship takes time. I'm very appreciative and thankful for the work done!
