Decked Out

The owner Rick was a real good guy. He does quality work within your budget without charging you a fortune. I originally scheduled 4 different estimates from different contractors and Rick was the only one that showed up on the date and timet that he said he would. I can't complain one bit about the deck. It's very well built and was a big upgrade from what we had. I'd highly recommend to anyone that is looking to have a sturdy deck built.

We originally hired Rick to replace the pressure treated decking with composite but he found the existing structure not to be sound. He suggested that we should replace the whole deck which we did. We couldn't be more pleased and we are so happy that we hired Rick to complete this project for us. He built an amazing deck for us. Rick is very personable, dependable and reliable. Our wood deck built by the previous homeowner started literally falling apart (unfortunately finding out as my foot went through one of the steps). Decked Out (and owner Rick) was by far our favorite company we got a quote from and he built us a beautiful new Trex composite deck after tearing down our old pressure treated one. He was easy to work with, did a fantastic job, and all at a great price. If you can get on his schedule you can simply stop your search here, you won’t be disappointed.

If you are considering a deck, Rick Skinner at “Decked Out” is who you want. I don’t have enough words to tell you how happy my wife and I are with Rick and the work he does! Couldn’t be happier! There was something about Rick and his working partner that we felt so comfortable with. Just an example of some of the things he and “Z-dog” did here while building our deck. My deck is about 8’ off the ground. After putting in the 6x6 posts Rick realized he was about 4” short in height that he needed to be. He called me outside and said he had made a mistake. Instead of trying to fix the problem he said no, I’m pulling all the posts back out ( which were already filled in with dirt) and order new posts to make it right! No extra cost to me. He said he doesn’t work like that, it has to be right.
