Jim was supposed to start a deck for us and after a few months of stalling I asked him for my refund in which he did not return. Seems he has a history he takes your money and doesn't do the work.

Jim took my deposit for one-half of the job and then failed to even start the project for 9 months, blaming the rain, and assuring me he would start "next week for sure" but he never did. When I finally had enough of it - after many, many follow-ups by me, I asked for my money back and he refused.
