I highly recommend Shai Arviv of Decori Kitchens for kitchen design and/or renovation. I originally had hired a decorator for the project and received a bland cookie cutter solution for my kitchen. I made the right call hiring Shai, who specializes in kitchen design, to replace the decorator. He brought style, innovation and inspired solutions for my limited kitchen space. For instance, there is a support beam that runs through my kitchen ceiling. Instead of just hiding it behind cupboard doors, he lined it with a beautiful wood finish to match the Peruvian wood counter he picked out. He then put glass doors in front so that the beam actually became a beautiful backdrop for display pieces. We used Shai at Decori Kitchens to remodel our kitchen in Brooklyn and really enjoyed working with him. Shai has a keen eye for design and an expertise in materials and appliances. He was able to find high end materials that fit our budget, as well as superior appliances at a discount rate. For apartments with smaller and tricky spaces, Shai was able to do complex detail work that made the best of the space—the corner expanding lazy Susan is one of his specialities. I just bought my first apartment in New York City. I did not like the kitchen and shai walked me through re-modeling the kitchen. He helped me built my dream grey and white modern kitchen with great lighting. He came to meet with me several times to make sure the kitchen was exactly what I wanted.
