Del Val Pool Maintenance

We found Del Val by searching google for someone to re-tile and cope our in-ground pool as well as open the pool for the summer (once the work was complete). We contacted 8 different pool companies, we received call-backs from 5, and 3 of them were willing to come give us a quote within a week's time. Del Val was one of the 3. The owner (Mark) came out and gave us a quote - provided a ton of samples for us to look at and did not push us into making any decisions. Within a day of reviewing the samples, we were scheduled to have the new tile and coping installed. They came out 2 weeks later and demo'd, installed, and cleaned up in a matter of two days. Unlike some of the reviews below, Mark/Del Val stuck to the schedule they told us and kept us informed of any necessary adjustments. We

Unreliable, our pool was shut down for water being stagnant and life guards don't show. A lifeguard didn't show at least twice on Sundays and we can't use the pool. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Have used the Del Val P& M services for many many years. In fact Mark and company were there when I called after purchasing the home with a pool in need of some help, they did a great job rejuvenating the old pool. So when we decided to fully renovated our masonry pool in Cinnaminson Mark was first and only call. Providing new drain, skimmers& lines, sand filter, gas heater, solar panels, salt system as well as creating a brand new pool for our family and friends to enjoy. Which we did for 10-12 yrs. before moving to the shore full time. Great job and super customer service before, during and after the Reno was complete. I won’t hesitate referring anyone to DVP&M.

The absolute WORST pool company on the planet. These clowns installed new skimmers in my built-in pool by simply placing the cardboard boxes that the skimmers came in around the skimmers, then poured dry bags of concrete into the cardboard 'forms'. They used a garden hose to then wet the concrete. Anyone with even the slightest knowledge of pools knows that this is NOT how skimmers get set. The proper technique involves installing rebar into the pool by drilling and setting with epoxy, bending the rebar around the skimmer and wire-tying the assembly together, then pouring a lot of wet-mixed concrete to set the skimmer strongly in place. How is it that after '35 years in the pool business' (as Mark claims), he doesn't know this??? Mark and his team of clowns also don't know how to set retur
