Densmore is a professional, reliable, and courteous company who helped us deal with a very challenging heating issue in the dead cold of winter. We had been without heat for more than two weeks during the holiday season. I had called on two different companies to help resolve the problem, each of which came with inadequate knowledge and a partial solution that left the main issue worsened. When Densmore technicians arrived, they gave a complete assessment of th problem--my furnace was irreparably damaged--and suggested a replacement was necessary. They schedule me as quickly as possible. The installation lasted all day., The technicians stayed until they were satisfied the system as in full working order. Densmore Oil & Bugbee Plumbing are the best! Had a little water under my boiler and they had a tech out that day. Owen was professional and knowledgeable. He explained the problem and had it fixed quickly. The plumbers are great also! I wanted to replace a toilet and my bathroom floor. The worked with my schedule. Pulled out the toilet on Friday afternoon. I replaced the floor over the weekend, and then they came Monday and installed my new toilet! Office staff is friendly and helpful! Always happy to answer any questions.

My mother in law used Densmore for the past 60 plus years. She passed away on Christmas day. My husband is the executor of her estate. My husband and I lived in CT our entire lives and recently moved to Florida. We've been doing our best to handle this from another state. When we called Densmore to get a delivery because the temps are going so low for so long, they said they wouldn't deliver until a bill was paid. I explained to them that the bill hasn't been paid because she passed away and we haven't gotten the estate checking account set up as we are still waiting for probate court to issue the fiduciary certificate. I bought a house in Groton and figured I would use Densmore Oil Company as the lady I bought it from was using them. Company calls itself "minority owned" because a woman owns it and has 2 office girls. All the other employees are men. Office girls were extremely rude and difficult to deal with. Quoted me one price for an HVAC service at a rental and then charged me more and said they never quoted me the lesser price. Serviced an oil furnace for me at the house I bought and they had the temperature up to 210 degrees. (No wonder the lady was burning so much oil!). Wrong pex water pipe for the baseboard heating was dangling without support in plain sight of furnace and serviceman simply ignored it. Cover off of electrical box on side of furnace in plain sight and serviceman ignored it
