When you buy a new house, only so much is revealed in the inspection. What you discover after can make or break you, literally, physically, financially. What started out as a cosmetic upgrade for an ADU turned into a major overhaul after the shower pan floor needed significant work. Levi and his team were top notch, boots on the ground, roll up your sleeves and make dreams come true, magic. The showroom was the first area to captivate me. We were lucky to learn of the team at Desert Sun from friends who used them for their bathroom renovation and we couldn't be happier with the results of our partnership (yes, partnership!) with them on our own bathroom renovation. We had ideas and some materials already picked out and they had suggestions and the experience we needed to collectively put together a really cool, highly functional, and well-constructed bathroom! We have had two bathroom showers remodeled by Desert Sun Customs (one last summer, and one this summer) and are very happy with their work. Everything turned out beautiful, and they were great to work with. We would highly recommend using them for any of your remodeling projects. I've used this Co for 3 other projects with satisfactory results. This last bathroom remodel was a frustrating , test of my patience. A one week remodel turned into almost 3 weeks. The employees were uncooperative, rude, messy. The work was sloppy with a lot of waste that later had to be reworked. Nails were bangged so hard that caused damage to the other side of walls. There was damage to baeboards near door that were never repaired and forgotten I re plastered myself. Environmentally the workers took waste water and dumped it at the base of trees, over nesquite wood being dried, and in a waterway that runs when there is rain. Employees had been instructed by me where to safely dispose of waste water before job started. This is just a few of the thing's that did not go well.

Our project was to replace all the floor coverings in the house and to replace the kitchen countertops and sink. Having no artistic or design skills ourselves, we floundered among the countless choices available for quite a while without making a decision. Levi advised us on the type of floor covering. Then we went to the showroom and Sally and Paul very quickly helped us choose the exact flooring and countertops that would beautifully coordinate with our existing dark cabinets and Talavera tile wall covering. Sally helped us choose a sink and faucet that I absolutely love. That was a Friday. The demo crew was scheduled for the following Monday. The entire project was finished in under three weeks.
