Our renovation included new flooring throughout our main living space, new countertops and sinks and new lighting. Gary Philipps and his team were professional and trustworthy, treating our home with the utmost care.

Design and Build Remodelers built an 18'x12' four season room. It has windows all around and a vaulted ceiling. It was built on time as promised and had excellent craftsmanship. That was 20 years ago, and we haven't had a single problem with it. Gary also added a composite material deck which also has excellent craftsmanship. When Gary says it will be done, it is done. He is a perfectionist, so it is always done with excellence.

We met Gary Phillip by chance on August 10, 2020. The Derecho was devastating. Thanks to our great neighbors sending him our way, he and his crew had tarped and secured our roof within hours of the storm. He was our angel that day and that was the beginning of journey to repair our home. We couldn’t have found a better contractor. Gary is very knowledgeable and professional. His work is second to none. We trusted him completely and are very pleased with the results. The tree that fell on our home damaged the roof, sitting room and master bath so bad that we decided to update the bathroom. A blessing in disguise! We love our new bathroom and gained a new friend. I have done a project on my house every year since I purchased it in 2015. Gary has been my contractor for every project. He has done my kitchen, basement, attic, built me a new garage after the derecho, and the list goes on. He has always been very professional, fair, prompt and stands behind his work. I never have to worry about the quality of his work and having an older home, that is very important. Gary has been our go-to contractor for years on a number of different projects on our home. With each time, he builds an increasing level of trust. We know we are going to get quality at a fair price. In 2018 he put on our deck, which has become the most used room in our house (see picture from our kitchen). Our first call after the 2020 derecho while it was still raining was to Gary. We suffered damage to much of the house (including our deck), and he and his crew made it look great ... even better than before the storm.
