Deweys Paving

I recently had blacktop (in my backyard) resurfaced by Dewey’s Paving. I met l met with Bob, the person in charge, prior to contracting. Bob was extremely professional and personable. He thoroughly explained the process (which involved much more than simply resurfacing - e.g. milling, leveling some areas, etc.); was extremely knowledgeable; answered all of my questions/concerns; and worked with me regarding pricing. Consequently, my interaction with Bob made me feel completely comfortable with selecting Dewey’s Paving. Additionally, and equally important, the work crew was impressive. They, too, were extremely professional; completely attentive to task and efficient; and thoroughly cleared/cleaned up following job completion! Dewey's Paving went above and beyond to do my driveway. We had a unique job in which we had the backyard (converted into a parking lot at some point) completely demo'd so we could plant grass and properly use our backyard & then we had our driveway completely replaced. They did a great job with the demo, brought in some fill dirt & top soil for us & did just a beautiful job on our driveway. Frank initially came out to do our estimate and honestly, you aren't going to find a nicer guy. He came out a second time & brought his own personal tool set to tighten up a loose step for us, because he's just that kind of guy. We worked with Dewey & Bob as well, who were also great, along with the whole crew. On top of the excellent service, they were also the most reasonably priced company we talked

Did not do the job as described or agreed to, then upcharged me for their screw up. They damaged my back stairs and removed a concrete step from the front porch that has been sitting in my front lawn for 2 months now. They haven’t returned calls to have it placed back where it was. This step weighs hundreds of pounds. About 1/3 of the driveway is not graded properly and is full of depressions. Water just pools in this area. Several areas also appear gravelly, which leads me to believe not enough binder was used. For 10,000 dollars, I am disappointed with the quality and service. Should’ve paid more for a better contractor. I’ve included a photo showing pools in the many depressions in my driveway less than 6 months after installation. This company is garbage.

We hired Dewey's paving to redo our driveway at our camp and they did a fantastic job. Professional from start to finish at a reasonable price. Do not hesitate to use them.

Installed a parking lot for our church. They tended not only to our needs but also went above and beyond our expectations. Completed the job in a timely manner with a reasonable price.
