This company decides the best time to paint stripes on a major roadway is on Friday afternoons. On both 8/18 and 8/25, I have found Highway 29 traffic has been backed up well over a mile, only to discover it is this company blocking off lanes to paint during the lunch and afternoon rush hours. On 8/18, I watched this decision to block traffic slow down emergency equipment trying to get to the wildfire in Liberty Hill. And when I finally manage to drive by their equipment, I see 3 to 5 guys standing around next to the paint truck chatting away. No sense of urgency to get the job done and get out of the way. To their credit, the markings look good, however, I am sure they would look just as good if painted early in the mornings or at night when many other stripe crews choose to do this type

Not happy with their work on our roads here in Milam County. If this was paid with my tax dollars, I want a refund! There is exposed tar everywhere , gravel is way too thin, terrible job!!! Already sent a complaint to TxDot. Please add another layer of ashphalt at least!
