Discount Glass Company

I brought in a Pella window panel (double glazed panel or DGP) with cracked glass still in the frame, the kind you remove to access between-the-glass blinds. This was my last resort as others had told me they couldn't fix it and Pella said they do not replace parts on windows this old (windows are from the '80s). I was seriously considering just replacing the whole window, but then Discount Glass said they could replace the glass in the frame for just $100! It was ready in a couple days and looks great. The only problem was that it was put in backwards (knob was in the wrong location and rough side of the obscurant glass faced the wrong way). I brought the panel back in and Bernie fixed it in less than an hour at no additional charge! Highly recommend Discount Glass!

I had a fabricator make me some display cabinets. His work was amazing, unfortunately this company’s work was not. Charged $1,200 for $400 of glass. NO WAY is this $800 worth of labor. I will never recommend this business, I will warn everyone I know. The fabricator even talked with management about how unpleased he was about how it came out. No discount, no “I’m sorry,” or “we’ll try to make this better.” I could’ve done this type of work, a child could’ve too. Don’t let the name fool you, it’s Discount Quality not Discount Glass.

I took 2 screens to them and 2 as larger ones to Mobile screen and window on Indian School. I paid $20 more for the smaller screens and when putting one into the window the screen came out of the frame. There was hardly anything holding it in. Also took 4 weeks to get back where the other company turn around was less then 2 days and no issue. save time save money go somewhere else.

Friendly customer service. Window screen not built the same as the template even after two tries. Usable. Not what I ordered. Wish the business off Girard still made them.

It took us 3 months to get a custom frameless shower door installed. Absolutely unacceptable for any business to be quick to collect payment and slow to deliver product! Had to return on the third trip to get the glass to the right specs. They (guidance from the owner)were trying to pass off the first attempt to install the tempered glass with an incorrectly measured glass, by doing some DIY silicone filler to fix their error of glass which was not big enough (3/4" off by their own measurements). We refused and pushed back to give us the custom glass we paid for! Then they tried to tell us our tiler didn't level the shower wall so he needed to pop off tiles to fix it and then the glass will work! We pushed back again and said we ordered a custom glass for what you saw when you measured!
