250$ for a simple lock out is bull shit, I was at work so I went inside and 10 mins later he comes in says 100$ and I dont wanna pay 100$ any more after he said minimum was 150$ so just very sketchy and stupid

Total scam! Showed up 1.5 hours after they quoted. Then the guy tried to quote me $250. I told him no. He asked me to cancel the company and he'd charge me $100.

I was referred to Discount lock and key from my local Cadillac dealer. I brought them a new Cadillac key that cost me $100 and the code to have the key cut. They were very friendly and good service. The problem arose is that they cut my key wrong it would not open my trunk lock. I called them and explain to them that my key was not cut right. They blamed it on a technology problem in the computer. as I was explaining it to them they hung up the phone on me. I had to call out another technician and they confirmed that the key was cut wrong. I mean completely wrong. So I was out $100 key. I was going to asked for a replacement in the form of a key fob programming for the same car. I would recommend this locksmith but to make sure if you need to have any keys cut from a program be very aware

We have been using Discount Locksmith since 2018. Most recently we called them to replace a deadbolt and work on a loose door handle. I called a few days in advance and made an appointment, and on the day of the appointment the technician, Curtis, called to let me know he was on his way. Curtis arrived exactly when he said he would. The work was done quickly and both doors now work perfectly. The cost was reasonable. We will be calling Discount Locksmith again…hopefully not too soon. 😊

I called this company because i was locked out of my house. I was told I would get a call back from the locksmith tech within a few minutes. Never called. Called again, and I was told once again I would get a call back, and never recieved one at all. I took it upon myself to get a tool bag and eventually unlocked my own door. Guess I didn't need a locksmith after all.
