We just had Discount movers move us from San Carlos to Mt Helix. First off they arrived exactly on time! 3 movers came, and in 2 hours they had the heavy contents of our house loaded up. Now the real trick was delivery in Mt Helix. These guys are the best. They had to wheel & roll everything down a steep driveway since they could not drive the truck down. I 2 hours they had placed all of the items in the how in their proper places. WOW! They were professional, friendly and most of all had a great attitude! We booked Discount Movers for a recent local move. The team showed up 1 hour late and also had to be constantly reminded to wear their face masks. As you can see from the pictures, there as a lot of damage done to our furniture and also to the walls and doors in the place we were moving from (that was a lot of fun for me to get to spend hours patching and painting that damage as well). I called the owner after sending the pictures. He said he would "talk to the team" and then I never heard anything back. The damage done to our furniture was needless and clearly the result of them not using any padding. Careless and disrespectful. And the radio silence was a clear indicator that the owner was going to do nothing to find a solution or refund our money. We paid $800 for this?

We hired Discount Movers to help us pack and move the contents of my mom's house from Oceanside to Sacramento. Daniel and his team were professional, courteous, and understanding of our situation. They communicated clearly their timeline and travel plans. The thing that impressed me most was that Daniel and his team were the ones to bring the packed items from Oceanside to Sacramento. Their pricing is reasonable and if there had a branch here in Sacramento I would use them again without question.

James refuses to return an email or answer a call after claiming he was going to submit an insurance claim for the damage the teenage movers caused moving into my new house. Wall damage from when they were bringing in the mattress to the master bedroom and flung the door open violently. Cracked the baseboard to the entry of the front door when movers violently rolled the trolly with heavy furniture over it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
