Discovery Inspections

Jon Douglass inspected our home on 11/4/21. Problem was the sink overflow cap which was broken after inspection. Called him & his statement was that he never touched that item. His say vs our say. Item very inexpensive because I ordered pkt of 3 for $3.93 through Amazon. Could have been easy solution to guarantee future business when we require inspector for our future home early next year. Disappointed.

The entire process, from scheduling to the final report was a pleasant and professional experience. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Their customer service is phenomenal!!!! We were very impressed with Chris Pate’s thorough inspection of our house. He was experienced, knowledgeable and generous in answering the questions we asked. His final report and summary of the inspection itself was very informative, simple to understand, and allowed us to easily identify the areas/issues that we may need to address in the future. Discovery Inspections provided great service from start to finish. They answered all my questions when I first called them, and they made the entire process very simple and straightforward. Our inspector, John, was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough, and he explained his findings and suggestions in terms that even I could understand! He was also very friendly and easy to talk with. The inspection report was easy to understand and well organized — the best we’ve ever had. All in all, this was a great experience with a business that delivered high quality service — a rare thing to find these days!

We had our home inspected today as requested by the future buyer of our home. John was our inspector, and he was absolutely wonderful! Even though we didn’t request the service and the report isn’t for us, he was so incredibly respectful of us, our time, and of our home. He even made sure to call us when he was done so that we knew when we could get back home with our 1 year old. We’ve also used Discovery for our future home, and had Don. Don was wonderful to interact with as well-he has such a laid back, calming demeanor and really showed that he cared. He was so thorough and took extra time to check everything out. Two gems of inspectors and we’ll gladly use them in the future!

Every person I've spoken to with this company has been so kind and professional. No one's excited about the added expense of a home inspection while trying to buy a house, but after receiving the report I truly believe it was worth every penny! Our inspector was Don, he was very thorough and knowledgeable. As first time home buyers he was very patient with us wanting to be present for the inspection and kindly explained his findings to us and provided an all star report easily broken down for anyone to comprehend.
